Welcome to my collection of places, thoughts, memories, and photographs.
I spend my time caught in a continuum between time zones and eras, in search of history, hidden meaning, cultural immersion, languages I don’t speak, music that touches your soul, thought-provoking art, food for thought, friends I haven’t met, and opportunities to grow.
When I’m not traveling, I’m reading—because one life isn’t enough, and in the page of a book I can be anybody (Richard Peck). I hold a BBA in International Business and an MBA in Design Innovation Management. My first taste of international experience came the summer I spent in Madrid working at European think tank Fundación para las Relaciones Internacionales y el Diálogo Exterior. My passion for design began during my six years in Global Marketing at Herman Miller. I serve as Vice President of the Board of Directors for CultureWorks Transformative Art + Design Academy and am the founder of The Adventure Projects—a foundation dedicated to empowering students through transformative travel experiences. I currently live out adventure everyday as part of the Global Brand team at XS Energy.
As a child, one of my favorite books was Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie. Most of us will recall the distinctive character with fondness as the boy who never grew up, but rather traded adulthood for a life of adventure. One tale in particular has remained with me years later. During an especially dangerous voyage in the mermaid’s lagoon, Peter brushes against death. Rather than succumbing to fear, he challenges it defiantly with the proclamation: To die will be an awfully big adventure.
Fear of death is relatable, but what about fear of living? Fear of chasing our dreams, of finding true happiness? My motto, then, has become this: To live will be an awfully big adventure.
This site is dedicated to living. My goal is to travel the world in the continuous pursuit of happiness, adventure, and purpose—and to inspire you to do the same.
I’ll leave you now with a final quote from our friend Peter Pan:
The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease forever to be able to do it.
Keep on flying,
